The Loft collecting school supplies for Penn Manor students

The Loft Community Partnership is collecting school supplies through July 31 to distribute to Penn Manor students on August 12. Donated items can be placed in the shed at the rear of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 222 N. George St., Millersville. See below for the items needed. Details here.

Family Night at the Park to be held June 21 at Daniel’s Den Playground

A Family Night at the Park will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 21 at Daniel’s Den Playground at Manor Church, 530 Central Manor Road. Games, face painting, ice cream, snacks and music will be provided. Staff from early intervention and early learning programs will be onsite to assist parents of children from birth to age 5. The event is sponsored by Lancaster-Lebanon Interagency Coordinating Council. Learn more here

Penn Manor families may qualify for low-cost internet service

Penn Manor families may be eligible to participate in a federal program that provides a $30 per month discount on internet service fees, plus a $100 discount on a computer/ tablet purchase. Rec basketball program seeking players for 2022-2023

Quarryville Library offers fall programs for preschoolers through teenagers

Girls on the Run program offered at Letort, Martic, Central Manor and Eshleman

Girls on the Run is a nonprofit program that combines training for a 5K with lessons that inspire girls to make healthy choices and develop life skills. GOTR is open to girls in grades 3 through 5. You can register here. 

Bible2School program offered at Letort, Conestoga, Pequea and Central Manor schools

Bible2School is accepting registrations for Penn Manor students in grades 2, 3 and 4 to attend free elective Bible classes during the school day. The students are bused to a nearby church, where  volunteers engage them in worship and Bible stories. You can learn more and register here. 

YWCA offers before- and after-school programs at Penn Manor schools

Lead-Free Families program offers resources to parents
